“Failing to plan is planning to fail” – Alan Lakein
I grew up in Colorado and I can say with confidence that it is one of the best places to live in the United States. Colorado is a unique place with mountains to the west, plains to the east and the front range of the Rockies that run all the way up to Canada – I think. We have amazing nature, a strong economy with a booming tech sector, some of the best skiing and microbreweries in the world and when you drive an hour outside of the city, you feel like you are an hour outside of the city. I can also say with confidence that the adventure of traveling can often be doing something out of the ordinary just miles from your own home. Sometimes I learn about new places from my friends or maybe I drive by a place and it looks intriguing but however I find new things to do I want to slowly make a plan to make them happen.
Colorado has quite an array of food and drink all across the state but here’s a growing compilation of places that I have been or am planning on going to as soon as I can.
Colorado has lots of outdoor activities for our very active Colorado lifestyles. It’s these sorts of things to do that contributes to Colorado being the healthiest state in the US. From Parks to River Surfing to Skateparks to Ski Resorts we have just about everything – except an ocean. No matter what you are looking for, Colorado is likely to please.
Colorado is a pretty unique place and I am glad to call it home.
Now if only there was a way to turn the eastern plains into an Ocean so that we could have everything.
